===================================================

Have 5 years working in big tech, looking to work on a new tech stack with a dedicated focus. I have a lot of experience with Oncall/IR for major services. My main focus professionally has been in Devops and developer tooling which I'd be more than interested in having a conversation about, but I'm also interested in expanding and moving towards to new roles.

I'd be interested in any tech roles regarding backend technologies, Observability and platform logging, Data infrastructure architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Security, Modernization and Automation.

I have strong familiarity with frontend/fullstack but would prefer to limit my frontend search to frontend roles that at least partially cover hardware accelerated technologies such as WebGPU/ThreeJS, Platform specifics (OpenGL/Vulkan/Metal/D3D), Compute or high efficiency parallelization.

I'd be open to opportunities where I get to further explore AI, however I'd have a preference for Healthcare, Notetaking, transcription and productivity, prototyping, and less emphasis on GenAI for content creation.

Additionally, I'd love the opportunity to take my skills and experience from outside of my professional experience into a new direction, so I've decided to put special emphasis on hardware/robotics. I consider any role that is at least somewhat adjacent to hardware technology a major plus.

I want to be more picky with my current job search. I'm open to spending more time in the interview process to determine whether or not I'm a good fit, as I want to ensure I'm where I want to be. Let's start a conversation!

Available for remote work worldwide, very flexible across time zones. Looking for permanent or contract positions.

Hi! I’m Olga, an experienced software engineer looking for frontend or fullstack projects.

I have experience building greenfield projects and complex features that “just work,” as well as diving into complex legacy codebases, fixing “unfixable” bugs, and performing major refactoring.

In addition to React/Next.js and Node/Express.js development, I also have experience with cloud-native workflows (Golang + Kubernetes), OpenAI API integration and agentic workflows, native iOS development, and game development. Thanks to my multi-platform experience, I can help you port large products across different platforms.

I'm an engineer with many years of experience in Silicon Valley, working in management roles, engineering, and consulting. My expertise is mostly in back end systems, working in the modern Go/Docker/Kubernetes ecosystem. In addition to working directly on large and complex code projects I also managed and grew engineering teams at various companies.

If you need help with specific technical projects, or are looking for management roles please feel free to reach out. I'm very familiar with both the unique challenges of scaling up startups as well as working to innovate in large enterprise companies.

Specifically if you need help productizing and scaling out various AI/Machine Learning/LLM systems this would be a good fit. I know there is quite a bit of demand in this area and a limited supply of qualified candidates.

Tech/Resume/CV:

I'm a software engineer with a decade of experience, covering both hands-on coding and technical leadership. Whether you need strategy, execution, or mentorship, I can help.

I stand by my work: if I don’t bring value, you don’t pay. My goal is to make software development efficient, high-quality, and enjoyable. I've worked with Semgrep, NBA, Kiwi.com, Midjourney, and many other, smaller companies.

I can help you with:

- Scalable Web APIs – Design, build, run APIs for millions of users

- Automated Code Quality – CI/CD and best practices to ensure maintainable code

- Tech Leadership & Mentoring – Let me help you bring the A-game forwards

- Process & Scoping – Leave development hell, hit deadlines like a pro

- Large data streaming and processing systems

... and plenty other things, really. I am certain we can solve your issues in a way that brings joy.

I've recently written code in Go, TS (& React), and Python (deploy and arch included) with traditional stacks (Postgre, Redis, Kafka, etc) and I'm comfortable with all the modern web tech.

Résumé/CV: https://cv.craigtp.co.uk

Hi. I'm Craig. I'm an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Systems Architect and Microsoft Certified Professional with a passion for software development.

I work primarily, but not exclusively, with Microsoft technologies and the .NET / .NET Core frameworks, leading complex and challenging enterprise software development projects to successfully deliver robust, secure, scalable and efficient software solutions, encompassing over 20 years of experience in the field.

An accomplished team leader, mentor and architect, I'm skilled at taking a leading role in the overall architecture of a project, in driving team developments and employing proven industry disciplines and best-practices to deliver successful software projects that frequently exceed client expectations.

I'm passionate about distributed systems design, CQRS and event sourcing and a proponent of domain-driven design to ensure that solutions are laser-focused on solving real business problems. I'm an open source enthusiast and advocate using the best and most appropriate tools available, providing for an effective and pragmatic solution that delivers genuine and quantifiable business value.

Throughout my career I've helped numerous businesses of varying sizes in varying industries get their technology investment right and I can do the same for you.

Recent projects include:

+ Architected and executed a comprehensive overhaul of a core legacy system, migrating it to a robust microservices architecture. By strategically applying Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and Event Sourcing, we enabled a prominent African FinTech company to seamlessly scale from 1 million to 10 million active users while achieving a remarkable 30%+ reduction in cloud expenses.

+ Successfully delivered an ambitious project to re-engineer a number of monolithic applications to cloud-native, event-driven distributed services for a leading hospitality software provider as part of a company-wide effort to modernise their entire software estate including training and mentoring staff on event-driven architecture and distributed system design.

+ Designed & delivered a large, global SaaS product to manage and automate music royalty collection and payment for one of the UK's largest and most demanding independent music publishers including full cloud geo-distribution & redundancy to ensure high availability & reliability for the worldwide client base.

+ Spearheaded the creation of a groundbreaking anti-motor fraud solution for a prominent UK law firm. This industry-leading platform combined a user-friendly web application, powerful API, and sophisticated data systems, including Europe's largest anti-fraud database, giving the firm an edge in fraud detection.

Happy northern hemisphere Spring, dearest HN reader! My name is Ryan Tuck, and I think you might like to hire me.

Dream job is alignment research at Anthropic, where I've already applied. Otherwise looking for exciting full-time work ideally within the following domains: AI Safety, Computational Science, Crypto, Research, Dev Tooling.

Currently doing very cool full-time contract work porting research simulation workflows from PhD laptops to the cloud, which I'd keep doing but need benefits!

Focusing on senior / principal / management full-time roles. 10+ years tech startup experience at varying stages of growth, high-agency generalist, enjoy leadership, remote since 2017, have maintained LLM workloads, familiar and comfortable with LLM-assisted coding. Most of my career has been working in data-intensive settings, backend application development, and handling devops on AWS infrastructure. Started my professional career at Warby Parker, and before that I taught myself to code trying to start a company building LED wearables for raves out of college. Physics and philosophy degrees, interested in everything, especially governance and complexity reduction in technical systems.

More very cool stuff over at my website: https://ryantuck.io

"LLMs": "Up-to-date with the latest developments, hallucinations are a headache to work with, read Bostrom in 2015, Yudkowsky is generally correct",
"Python": "You probably actually want to use setup.py but are using requirements.txt because you read to do that online when you set up your deployment two years ago and don't understand why you're seeing dependency issues with pip. Also, pandas is overkill.",

"Hardware": "I went from dabbling with Arduino and Raspberry Pi to raising thousands of dollars on Kickstarter for a hardware product I built from scratch, unleaded solder is harder to work with"

Hi, I'm Kurtis. I've been programming for ~10 years, 3 years professionally. I'm currently looking for a project that has positive real-world impact; working at a company that chugs out AI slop for the betterment of stakeholders isn't really my thing. The listed technologies are in no particular order, nor are they comprehensive. For relocation: I have Canadian and EU citizenship.
