I’m a software engineer who spent 5 years at Microsoft (Windows Shell), where I worked on core user-facing parts of Windows and later on an AI incubation team. I resigned in 2023 to study Mandarin full-time in Taiwan, but am now back in the US and looking for my next engineering role. I studied CS and Creative Writing at Brown, where I helped build what was then the largest undergraduate UI/UX course in the country. Solid fundamentals, strong UX background, and comfortable working in Mandarin.

I like building things that balance technical depth with human-centered design. I’m seeking roles where I can work across systems and product to make software that feels genuinely useful.
