alt Hacker NewsSee I’m not sure that it is legal. If they are re-transmitting audio is being played in public over the Internet for potentially many thousands more people, I’m pretty sure the RIAA, the UMG, & the WMG would all have something to say about it.

In general, for chickenshit like this, the worst the authorities are likely to say is "Please stop."
The clips are a few seconds long and the use does not appear to be commercial, even then their inclusion could be seen as fair use to a reasonable person.
