alt Hacker NewsIt was ext3 if I remember correctly. I usually stick to the default file system unless I have a really good reason to do otherwise.

I switched to Reiserfs and actually stuck with it until ... never had the data loss issues.
btrfs has been the default on Fedora for a while. Ext4 was the default before that. So if it was ext3 days that's been a long time ago.
