alt Hacker NewsAgreed. I mostly meant that I'll never see the actual dataset that I contributed to. That's why I'd prefer to spend my time on things that I can see, like OpenStreetMap :)

The people playing Pokemon Go will also see your OpenStreetMap contributions.
Not the raw data, but if you've used Google maps for directions or looked at traffic, then yeah you have.
