Trump will take office on Monday. If he chooses to declare some progressive idea as anti-american, a lot of people, who previously said nothing illegal, could face hostility from "patriots".
I hope this doesn't happen. But I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Old data can become toxic waste.
A lot of people tried to sound the alarm. It's not "the cloud", it's "other people's computers". And given that other people own these machines, their interests - whether commercial or ideological - will always come first.
