This kind of 'legal bulwark' argument is naive. No precedent is needed for SCOTUS or 5th Circuit Federal to do whatever the hell bs they want.

The important thing is what protections are gained now, directly as a result.

Also, sales tax already goes to the state where a good is delivered to. Texas already knows when you buy from Good Vibrations, if you live there.
