There are clearly people using LLMs to generate comments but what's worse is people now just accusing people of being agents or bots in an effort to downplay and ignore their points.

What's clear is that its impacting HN very negatively in the past 3 months or so. What irks me is there are clearly long formatted responses that are clearly using LLM but authentic user comments are being written off as LLM/agent/bot in order to get others to stop engaging with them.
