alt Hacker NewsAh really? My parents bought Korean rice in New Zealand even though it was more expensive. I do think there is some form of nationalism along with deep cultural connection to rice at least in Korea and Japan.
Interesting to find out Thai doesn’t have something similar.
It's surprising to me, because out of all the rices, I feel that Thai jasmine rice is the one that stands out the most.
