Based in Stockholm, Sweden (but originally British), I have a frightening quarter-century's experience building back-end stuff in Java. I've also been a Linux guy since the boot/root days, and I rather like dabbling in AWS cloud stuff too. I'd like to reach outside my comfort zone a bit in my next role, but whether that means "less Fintech", or "quelle horreur, le frontend" or something zanier we'll have to see. I'd definitely like to go somewhere that the architecture and technical decisions weren't fully baked yet, so a startup might be a good fit.
