You are right. And "work sounds like AI" is an insult says everything you need to know about the generations by AI :)

Do you want AI pushed down your throat?
In this case they're not doing themselves any favors by leading their posts with obviously AI generated images. That just primes the reader to suspect the author is slopping it up before they even start reading.
