alt Hacker NewsRust is going to feel more familiar to Tor contributors than Go. Based on the list of platinum members (which includes Google and Tor btw) there's some serious money going into the Rust Foundation, assuming it's managed properly I can't see funding as an issue.
I don't see any transparency with the funds. So it's hard to grasp how much is it.
But it's never going to surpass Go which is owned by a 4 trillion dollar conglomerate.
