Some of them might be sad about the war crimes their army commits in a daily basis, but almost none are doing anything about it. Their victims have been successfully isolated by the world's largest superpower and its network of corrupt client states.

So yes, in that situation, "defensive" warfare technologies for Israel are clearly a bad thing.
