Imagine a program, photoshop as example, with a plugin system and builtin Code Agent, if by default the program doesn’t have the tool you want, you could ask the agent to create the tool in 5 minutes. Each user will have an unique set of tools, and a program molded for him.
As slow and buggy as Photoshop is, an incredibly fast superhuman AI couldn't get much done in 5 minutes or even 5 hours.
In general I agree with you, just not at the extreme.
