But I agree, my default approach has usually been to only use innerText if it has untrusted content:

So if their demo is this:

    container.SetHTML(`<h1>Hello, {name}</h1>`);

Mine would be:

    let greetingHeader = container.CreateElement("h1");
    greetingHeader.innerText = `Hello, {name}`;
