The market-clearing solution is to have some mechanism by which the producers pay the rest of us to consume the products. Whoever comes up with that framework will probably do very well.
They are basically destroying markets where there is value in producing content. No one wants to consume your LLM slop book, but if you spam Amazon with thousands and thousands of AI generated books, you will end up making a profit tricking some people in to buying them. Meanwhile the real books struggle to be seen in the mountains of shit.
