Hello, my name is Peter and I am finishing up my Ph. D. in computational topology, focusing on finding equivalent piecewise-linear approximations to smooth curves and surfaces which may have a non-trivial knotting structure. In addition, I have done work in parallel computing, routing and packing optimization, and topology optimization. Before returning to school I was a senior embedded engineer working in the IoT space. Ideally, I would like to find a position as a research scientist.
