That's ~6% gap from mid-market exhange rate, the worst cards do better than that.

This is like in stocktrading platforms where "best rate" is offered, and is in fact the worst of several options.

Even Amazon does this. So scummy. This exchange rate trick should be illegal everywhere.
Yeah but that's general advice, you shouldn't also do that with PayPal, or while paying abroad. ALWAYS pay in the local currency, never in your own.
