I mean, it is possible, that, after verification, credits are added to the Fable usage from your existing subscription plan. Maybe not. But maybe yes. No way to know. And, remember, when Fable was first released, they announced that it was only going to be on the existing subscription plans for a short period.

I guess but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I bet it means they first take your money for credits but then put them on hold until you've verified your identity. Companies do this all the time -- OVH for example will gladly take your money first and then refuse to provide any service without ID verification. First and only time I've ever charged back.

- Sunk cost encourages people to perform the verification in order to get access to what they've already purchased. No refunds means they're less likely to take it back and straight to a competitor.

- Also prevents bad actors from pulling out of situations that require the verification. Presumably you deserve to be out of that money if you suspiciously thought you'd be able to spend it without verifying identity.
