alt Hacker NewsI made it specifically to bring back what was amazing about the old internet, and do it as authentically as possible. takes inspiration from old internet messageboards, usenet, bbs, and pubnix hosts. it has sealed mail, boards, an rss reader, built-in media player, custom profiles, a links directory, and quite a bit more.
it's just a little hobby art project for me but i've really appreciated talking to like minded people in a calm space.

This is wonderful. I've often wondered about small, human-only groups forming in tighter social circles, which can be hard to find.
