Yeah I don’t know if it is necessary “wrong,” but I am a little skeptical of the automatic assumption that disrupting tombs and putting them in museums is a good thing.

There is some educational value, of course, but it’s more just a relic of our “analyze everything, respect nothing” era.

If the past is another country, we certainly aren’t respecting the natives’ wishes.
