Negative happiness. For Hitler, being captured alive and utterly humiliated in front of the world's jury as it were, must have been a prospect too horrible to contemplate. Happiness with a coefficient of -10 as against maybe -5 immediately prior to death by poison + gunshot. His and probably everybody else's choice and as in his case, something for dictators to ponder.
