The average person, yes. A professional, competent writer, editor, journalist? Not even close (currently).
The intentional typo "is't" needs work. Either drop the apostrophe like the yoots or stick to believable transpositions.

Microsoft Word has auto-inserted em-dashes when you use hyphens in such a sentence since forever. Em-dashes are never a proof of AI-generated text.
since when is "confusion and speculation" an indicator of quality/goodness? if I ran around naked in traffic it would also cause confusion and speculation.
Reading comprehension is suffering these days.
