That's quite insane then. Especially the lane departure warning / assist was downright dangerous in snowy conditions when the road markings became partially covered, I cannot imagine driving with that setting on all the time.

(Opposite to some configurations described nearby, some car models do automatically steer pushing the car in its lane, they do not just warn the driver.)
The "lane assist" is very dangerous. I don't understand how this got in cars to begin with, nevermind become mandatory.
It's super "fun" with temporary marking around road works. I bet it works perfectly in a lab but in the real world..
