yes, worth adding: Various changes/improvements in the way wind mills are build, have marking & lights on them are expected to reduce the number by quite a bit. Through a lot of already build existing wind mill and limited pressure to apply such changes means we will have to see how much of this actually will help iff even relevantly used at all.
Another problem is that the actual impact on bats for _offshore_ wind seems unclear. Yes it happens, bats do migrate across sea areas in some places. But we have very little knowledge about bat migration routes and amounts in such cases AFIK.
