Note that Repubs have a more solid group than Dems in the Senate, because Dems have to win states with more compromising candidates like Sinema/Manchin/Lieberman/Fetterman/etc, whereas the Repub states are solidly Republican.

Just see how Repubs were able to stymie Democrat Supreme Court Justices, and how many they were able to install.
