+1, that's why I don't do Single Player (story-driven) games anymore. But a MP game (currently "The Finals") for me, works much better. It's easier to pick up for a few hours and then drop again for a long time. Sure, you might not be hyper competitive but that's fine.

Also works pretty well for racing games (like Forza MotorSport / Horizon) imo.
