Worth mentioning that Google has the same tax in Google Maps.

It is bad for the same reasons that the Amazon Tax mentioned in the post is bad…

Many times I search for a restaurant like McDonalds and the top result won’t be the one nearest to me…it will be a sponsored result for one that is farther away from me.

Pretty wild that Google does this. It’s bad for people. It’s bad because instead of picking the best choice to be the top, Google is showing a worser choice for money.

The same reason why this blog mentions that the Amazon Tax is bad.
