It's really ludicrous that Safari doesn't let you configure the search bar. My number one complaint about it bar none.

Shoutout StopTheMadness for allowing me to redirect one of the defaults as I see fit (URL redirects), even add a !k bang to DuckDuckGo via regex.

The actual 2026 iOS Safari search options… this is what Apple’s trillions want to offer (well maybe want to offer only the first one) and absolutely nothing more:

  Google

  Yahoo

  Bing

  DuckDuckGo
