Did the parent say clean energy or cheap energy? Obviously yes, coal.

Though coal has dropped as a percentage of their portfolio fairly dramatically, and in absolute twh has been stable since 2010, with other energy sources growing.

These two things (investment in green energy and coal) can be true at the same time.
