Some weeks ago, a colleague laughed at me when I asked: "btw, do we use jQuery somewhere in our web app?" - he said, its no more a thing today.
Is that true?

jQuery is certainly still used in a lot of production apps and they still release updates.
But most new web apps will use a flavor of React.
