The British case was overturned on appeal. (Crazy that it had to go that far though.)

I can't find much left or right coverage of it, there's so much news coverage in the way.

There is a difference between failing to condemn something and gloating/supporting attacks on liberty simply because one's favored political team is now doing it.

The government also exceeded their authority, but there's a gap between "I don't like (left/right)" and "blockade".
