Most AI agents ship with tool access and nobody watching what they do with it. I build the enforcement layer that catches it before it becomes a breach.

Inline Proxy: open-source MCP security gateway enforcing per-tool policy (allow, block, redact, and more) on every agent tool call. Taint tracking stops a poisoned GitHub issue from publishing a repo's .env as a public gist. 194 tools covered, ~0.1ms p99, fail-closed by default.

AegisLLM: published as my master's thesis (UW 2026, ProQuest 32738510). Automated LLM red-teaming mapped to the OWASP LLM Top 10, with a genetic-algorithm engine that evolves new attack variants.

MS in Cybersecurity Engineering from UW. Top 1% on TryHackMe, with multiple CTF wins. Looking for security engineering or AI security roles at companies putting agents in production.

I'm more than happy to learn a new language or two. I've worked with AI since 2018 at a variety of startups, but I'm equally comfortable with non-AI work.

My latest hobby project is building a benchmark for LLMs on playing board games; it tests strategic planning and whether it can comprehend and apply large sections of text.

Forward Deployed Engineer | AI Transformation | Agentic Systems | Previously at frontier labs

Remote: Yes

Willing to relocate: No

CV: Ask

Email: [email protected]

I help organizations evolve into AI-native businesses by redesigning processes, decision-making, and operating models around LLMs, agentic systems, and intelligent automation. I enjoy partnering with leadership to identify high-leverage opportunities, define AI strategy, and translate ambitious transformation goals into processes that drive organization-wide adoption.

My focus is applying frontier AI capabilities—LLMs, agents, and intelligent automation—to transform how companies operate: redesigning business processes, augmenting teams, automating knowledge work, and building agentic workflows that create measurable business impact.

I specialize in bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution. I work with executives, operators, and technical teams to identify high-value AI opportunities, translate ambiguous problems into scalable solutions, rapidly prototype systems, and drive adoption across teams.

My expertise includes enterprise agentic workflows, AI-native operating models, AI orchestration, workflow automation, autonomous business processes, and production AI deployment.

I'm particularly interested in helping companies rethink how work gets done — building AI-first workflows and augmenting decision-making where humans and AI collaborate effectively. I enjoy working across strategy and implementation, taking ideas from discovery through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Looking for Forward Deployed Engineering opportunities where technical excellence, customer partnership, and AI-driven organizational transformation are equally important. If that's the transformation your company needs, reach out via email.

13 years building the whole stack: mobile app, web front end, API, and the servers under it.

I am looking for part-time, ongoing work rather than one full-time seat: about 20 hours a week per company, and I can hold two at once. I am free from February 2027, and happy to talk now and line up a start date.

Most recently I shipped a kids news app in Flutter for a Dong-A Ilbo subsidiary, then rebuilt its backend on Spring Boot WebFlux and moved the app across without an app-side rewrite, because the API boundary was GraphQL from the start. Before that: an unattended study-cafe system (Electron kiosk, recurring card billing, door controllers), a healthcare platform on Laravel/React serving clinics, patients and operators, and a Flutter/Firebase chat app with push and in-app purchases.

Part-time works with me because nothing waits on a handoff. I own the app, the API and the server, so a feature goes from spec to release without three people syncing. Payment integrations and "the app runs but the backend needs replacing" are both familiar ground.

I am in KST (UTC+9) and can hold a few hours of European or US-morning overlap.

I have worked for years in open source software development. I created and ran two notable open source projects: Lita, a ChatOps framework for Ruby (https://github.com/litaio/lita) which is used by many companies for automating internal operations and workflows, and Ruma, an implementation of the Matrix protocol in Rust (https://ruma.dev/) which went on to become the basis for the official Rust SDK for Matrix.

My most recent role was at Cisco Meraki, where I spent four years as a technical lead for the cloud side of the wireless products. I have experience in both web development and cloud infrastructure roles.

My ideal role would be building software targeting other developers, either as a member of a developer tools team, or for a company whose products are made for developers. I'm also drawn to companies building "neutral" utilities whose value is fairly self-evident: Things like PagerDuty and Stripe which are generally useful and provide the infrastructure needed for other things to work.

I would love to use Rust professionally, but I'm fine with other languages, too. I'd also be very happy to work on a product with an amount of open source code, given my background working on OSS projects.

I'm a backend/platform engineer. I was previously a founding engineer at a B2B startup, where I worked across the backend, frontend, infrastructure, deployment, integrations, and internal workflows. I'm currently doing production reliability and cloud migration work at Autodesk.

I like working on messy problems where I can figure out what needs to exist, build it, and then deal with the boring work required to keep it running. Outside work I spend a lot of time building things with Rust and Nix, mostly around developer tooling, personal infrastructure, and AI agents. Some of that is at https://github.com/rrvsh, and I write about whatever I'm working on at https://rrv.sh.

I'm mostly looking for backend, platform, infrastructure, developer tooling, or high-ownership startup roles.

Hello! I'm Felipe, and I have 9 years of experience building backend, desktop and developer-platform systems using .NET/C#, but I'm quite alright with jumping to a new stack as needed.

Most recently I've been at Elastic working on their current documentation platform, which given their scale presents a lot of challenges. Most of this work is available on Github, so you'll be able to check my work both before and after widespread AI-assisted development.

Besides that, I have worked on both brownfield and greenfield projects, and I'm available for backend, full stack, DevEx, platform, you name it! I enjoy being flexible if needed, and helping in bringing the best out of everyone.

So, what can you expect when interacting with me? Some horsing (mask) around when possible. A lot of respect for user needs, and eagerness to get their feedback.

Don't hesitate to get in touch!

Resume/CV: kol3x.com

I started as a fullstack JS engineer and grew into product development at my last company. I owned the ingestion layer - collecting 100k relevant messages/month from 4 platforms through a dirt-cheap serverless back-end on Cloudflare Workers.

We worked with LLMs deeply, especially in code generation research. I was part of a small team developing SpecGEM, a fine-tuned model that generates Cloudflare Workers code from JSDoc comments and is designed to outperform mainstream LLMs at this narrow task. https://dn.institute/research/ai/specgem/

Last month I released a self-hosted LLM assistant on Cloudflare Workers that predictably compounds context across conversations. https://github.com/kol3x/pawmc

Looking for a remote role where I can own work end-to-end. Stack-wise I'm strongest on Cloudflare Workers, JavaScript/TypeScript, practical LLM integration, React.

Polyglot by track record, working on production systems in TypeScript, C#/.NET, and PHP (Laravel).

Ongoing side projects include a multi-tenant CRM/CMS for community organizations and nonprofits. TypeScript/NestJS, PostgreSQL with RLS tenant isolation, MikroORM, an event-driven core on BullMQ/Redis, Vue 3 frontend.

I am a backend engineer with ten years of experience, recently laid off from Faire, where I spent four years building and running the services behind a free-shipping membership program in Kotlin and gRPC on AWS. Most of my work sits on the platform side of product teams: decomposing monoliths into services, designing data models across relational and NoSQL stores, and building the deployment, routing, and rollback machinery that makes large changes safe to ship under live traffic. I carry production on-call for what I build and run the post-mortems afterwards. Earlier in my career I worked lower in the stack on Android platform and embedded software, initially in security assessment of system services and later on building security enclave applications. I am looking for senior backend or platform engineering roles, remote or anywhere in Canada.

Senior data/platform engineer, around 5 years of experience. I build data systems where the output has to be trusted. Recent work includes validation frameworks for EU regulatory reporting at ESMA, Spark/Databricks pipelines for logistics use cases for SHV Energy, ESG reporting for KPMG, healthcare migration/data quality work around openEHR, and BigQuery/Airflow pipelines for logistics analytics. I’m strongest in messy-source-data problems: ETL/ELT, data quality, warehouse/lakehouse modeling, pipeline reliability, cloud data platforms, and making analytical systems debuggable by people who were not there when they were built.

Looking for: data engineering, data platform, backend/data infrastructure, analytics engineering with real engineering depth, machine learning/data-heavy DS roles, ML/LLM infrastructure, or small technical teams building data products. Open to both full-time positions and contracting.

Available immediately.

I've been the primary tech designing, implementing and operating our systems for the last 25 years, and new ownership came with their existing stack, and made my position unnecessary. I'm looking for a new challenge as a trusted partner and team member overseeing, designing, implementing technology systems, and being an advisor figuring out the best ways to cost effectively implement and serve web-based and other technology systems.

At another ongoing gig, I've worked independently implementing barcode driven work order tracking in a small manufacturing firm, in operation for nearly 15 years. I have the drive and focus to implement ideas as an independent single contributor, or as part of a team. I'd love to connect!

Engineering-physicist with 20+ years of experience in software engineering, mostly in leadership roles. Track record spans founder/CEO of a VC-backed wireless networking startup (architected and led the development of a radio access system later licensed to Ericsson Networks), Head of Data & Analytics at a digital primary care scale-up (built the data science team from scratch + hands-on work in Python with libraries like PyMC3 and TensorFlow), Engineering Manager for Sinch's central data platform (25 reports, drove a data-mesh reorg), most recently fractional CTO for two healthtech startups taking them from prototype to production (architecture, hiring, process + hands-on work in Terraform).

Comfortable from board level to codebase. Can do 0-to-1 technical org build-out, architecture reviews, or steady state engineering management. Looking for both interim, part-time roles and full-time employment. I have a Swedish company through which I can invoice pretty much anywhere in the world.

Trustworthy output from untrustworthy data. I build systems that catch what's silently wrong — a dead sensor nobody noticed, contradictory records, a garbled scan, a confidently-wrong model — so it surfaces as a flag today, not a six-month catastrophe.

I use LLMs where they earn their place (development, meaning, embeddings, plain-language access to jargon-locked data) and keep them out of decisions and the data flow, which stay deterministic and verifiable. An LLM can help you find the answer; it can't be the answer.

Senior systems engineer, multiple AI cycles of judgment on what survives the hype and where it breaks. Currently turning messy Polish legal PDFs into a correctness-checked graph — the hard part is the verification, not the AI. Previously I built a legislative-notification service that ran autonomously in production for over three years before I retired it. I've written about where AI coding agents actually fail and why verification is the real work: https://walat.eu

Best fit when: correctness matters, the data is real-world-messy, and you want someone who names what doesn't work and why.

Backend engineer looking for preferably a Backend Java role (most professional experience), but open to Python and JS/TS as well. Also completely willing to learn e.g., Go on the job. Not necessarily looking for a full stack job at this time.

I have ~5 years experience on Java backend dev (~7 YoE total), primarily working with RESTful microservices on Spring/Spring Boot. During my most recent tenure at <Fortune 1xx company>, I was a key part in migrating core, revenue-driving services to support a foundational change in the business's strategy (sorry for vagueness - more details in resume). This included owning certain microservices end to end for the purpose of this migration, from designing and writing SDDs to implementation.

At the latter part of my tenure, I was working on migrating microservices from on-prem to AWS, including rewriting services completely in AWS Lambda (Python) or lift-and-shift containerizing of Spring/Spring boot services.

I am extremely motivated and capable of quickly switching tasks when the need arises. I can pick up new projects quickly, and love learning - whether it be a deep dive into a product I'm not familiar with or just learning a new technology in general. I can effectively communicate with fellow team members as well as high-level business stakeholders.

Hi HN, I help firms increase their bottom line through my finance / math background and MacGyver data analytics approach to problem solving. My experience includes finance & trading, healthcare, the Rubik's Cube, and some time in grad school where I mostly built custom NLP models and generated fractals instead of grading papers.

I've discovered and implemented profitable trading strategies, saved weeks of C-suite time by automating boutique financial reporting, and built a Python app that saved the company from buying some $500k software. Each of my tech skills are self taught because they've helped me solve specific problems I've found at the firms I've been part of (or because they were a fun way to spend nights and weekends).

I'm interested in joining a team working on intellectually stimulating projects. (Consulting / contracting for the right opportunity.) Reach out if you think we could work well together and I'd love to meet up for coffee. More about me on my website (in profile).

I'm a cybersecurity leader with 15+ years of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, product security, offensive security, and management. I recently took the summer off to take care of my kids while my wife started a grad school internship. Now I'm back and looking for a new opportunity. Before this, I was at HubSpot, leading infrastructure security (cloud security, vulnerability management) and a new group we called Threat Operations, responsible for incident response, threat intelligence, offensive security, and product detection engineering.

I'm looking for a position in cybersecurity leadership where I can leverage my breadth of technical experience to lead and strengthen a cybersecurity program. I love grabbing time to chat with people about the industry and challenges I can help with, even if you don't have a position to offer.

Senior software engineer with 8+ years of experience, roughly 60/40 backend/frontend but comfortable end to end. On the frontend side I care as much about the user experience as the implementation, and I like being close enough to the product to help shape what gets built, not just how. Currently based in Texas but looking to relocate, ideally to Washington state. Looking for FTE/W2 positions at a small-midsize org. Happy to talk about backend, frontend, or full stack roles.

Platform / SRE / Cloud Engineer with 7+ years of experience building, operating, and improving production infrastructure.

I’ve owned production platforms across AWS and GCP, working across Kubernetes/GKE, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, networking, security, disaster recovery, migrations, and on-call.

Technologies: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Terraform, Pulumi, Docker, Go, Python, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Linux, PostgreSQL, and soo many more related tech that goes alongside this.

I’ve worked on problems spanning reliability, infrastructure automation, developer platforms, DevEx, cost optimization, production operations, capacity/scaling, migrations, and incident response. I enjoy the messy problems where there isn’t an obvious solution and where getting the system right requires understanding both the infrastructure and the people using it.

Outside of work, I’m building and operating my own SaaS (RoleReady.me) as a long-term side project. I’m also a heavy user of agentic AI tooling, which I’ve been using to significantly expand how quickly I can build, automate, investigate, and ship.

Looking for a strong Platform / SRE / Cloud / Infrastructure role where I can own systems end-to-end, work close to the engineering organization, and tackle difficult production problems. Open to both IC and high-ownership platform engineering roles, including opportunities outside Toronto.
