You know how children's toys have big soft rounded corners and overly colored glossy finishes? It feels to me like the iphone has become "Fisher-Price my first phone" for basic idiots. It no longer feels like a sleek device of the future like the iPhone 4 did. The design feels tasteless.

The corners in the duo seem comparable to those on the standard iPhone. Presumably, the squatter dimensions may just call more attention to them. I don’t see the duo as appearing cartoonish though.
