alt Hacker NewsWhile I get what you are saying, from my perspective, there is no longer the same breadth of content on HN, with LLM related content taking up a significant portion of the top posts. Today is actually a pretty good day, with I think 7/30 being LLM related.
I just don't like having to dig through multiple pages of LLM posts to find other types of tech news. Even if I do read a few here or there, I can't filter them out to look for other stuff. There is other tech out there beyond AI.
I feel like simple tagging system for hn submissions would fix that. A couple of predefined tags - single submissions should have at least one tag. User can define list of tags they want to follow and that's it.
