alt Hacker NewsLet me guess. He disclosed everything to expose the US, but when it came to exposing others (like Russia, where he found the refuge), he balked. The fearless journalists were contacted by some guys who explained would happen if they were to leak the docs (not American court, and not Guantanamo). So they decided, quite wisely, to stay mum.

Also, at some point they were just done reporting on what was there.
Remember that Snowden got three journalists involved so they could make a decision on what to release, so they didn't expose details of people undercover etc and put real lives in danger. It was not meant to go to the public in its entirety.
There seems to be a lot of continued misunderstanding how Snowden managed to end up in Russia.

It's the US' fault that he ended up in Russia. That's the irony.
