alt Hacker NewsI was under the impression a large % of jobs posted on jobs sites are done simply for compliance reasons and because HR has some "bullshit jobs" parts to it and the companies will usually simply hire from within the company itself.

Sometimes that can happen but it is not common, certainly not a large % of job posts.
