In the real world the carpenter very quickly gets judged by his work. You can tell almost immediately the type of work they will produce and if they get to hang around.

Jobs are not lump some in custom work. They get divided into small scopes.

Initially the interview process starts with expectations. You dont really know if it's going to work out until you see some work though.

There are many rules in trim carpentry but this is the number one rule.
