What do you think prevents you from being literally enslaved? The government is (or was) one avenue of your leverage against capital, when they own the government and they write the laws what protection do you have against being forced into service?

The complete inability of people to learn that what we have now was written in blood as their form of leverage is enough to drive a man insane.
