I've had this same thought when I see all these vibe coded apps that look exactly the same
I think this is more the result of https://archive.ph/a9Cli (no skill; no taste, original currently down) than a representation of what is possible
yeah to some extent it's like a better interface over all those no-code site and app builders. people used them but they were still a lot of work, being able to just describe what you want is better ux for those users.
i wasnt around for that period where nocode was super hype, was there the same general attitude that it was inevitably going to replace developers?
