Intel 2014 MBP - Sequoia (OCLP) - Board game tutorials and videos at the gaming table (dining room)
Intel 2012 Mini - High Sierra - Very retro video gaming (doesn't access the net)
Since I can't afford to buy anything anymore, I'm keeping these the way they are for a long time. As each one dies, so does my enjoyment of computing.
I bought a MBA in 2022 and haven't ever upgraded the OS. It works fine for me, and the AI stuff seemed like it wasn't ready for prime time. While it might have provided some benefits, I was concerned that there would be more unexpected downsides.
I'd be curious to know what people think about Siri AI and whether it's finally worthwhile. I'm still running an old iPhone with no AI, so don't have much basis for comparison.
My company IT forced us to upgrade to Tahoe :(
Deliberately keeping it 15.x on my M3 Max.
There is no benefit for upgrading from Sequoia to Golden Gate. UI isn't better looking or faster. Siri AI is not great. More bugs, not less.
