In the almost 11 years I have owned my home, I just hosted a group for the second time. It was a game night with dinner.

You are right: It was work, it was money. I am not exactly a social butterfly, but even I was able to pull off a gathering of four other people. It was so worth it, because we all had an absolute blast.

It was also very much needed. So I, for one, plan on doing my part to counter this trend.
