The other thing is: If a few cold days kill you then your health wasn't much to begin with after all.
Old people die. It's not always a heart attack or a stroke. It's the flu at a high age that gets them.
Germany doesn't pay for it, the consumers pay for it.
The issue is real: if prices jump to high, certain people stop heating. They have to endur the cold, get sick etc.
Poor people and old people are affected the most.
