alt Hacker NewsI know some people whose work was already almost completely eliminated by AI (language translation) and they're not doing great. Reality is there's no-one out there looking out for you except yourself and very close family/friends.

Just curious, what kind of jobs did they transition to? Or were they forced to take a break, or left in job application hell, etc?

I know a language translator (Japanese/English) who is doing very well out of AI screwing up and causing damage.
