People who dont have computers should simply cancel their expensive netflix subscription and not eat avocados on toast. Within 5-7 years they too will have saved up enough for a deposit on an entry level GPU and some RAM.
I was going to add a disclaimer about the comment referring to the average person likely to read this website and not someone who does not own a computer at all. I would happily vote for taxes on upper incomes including my own go up if it is needed to help people at the bottom afford the essentials.
Personally my gaming pc is from 2019 which by industry standards is bordering on obsolete junk. But compared to the game consoles I was playing not that long ago this thing has virtually infinite power and should be expected to last far longer than it currently is.
