I agree.
But there seem to be a bunch of people with sociopath tendencies, mostly in finance, tech & politics, which don't seem to be affected at all by this.
There's also a ton of people that simply don't get that others could have a valid different point of view and instead view everyone who does something different than they would have as "must be evil sociopath"
I believe sociopathy involves disconnecting from parts of oneself. While initially this may seem like an advantageous 'adaptation', but if the process continues, it can result in a fragmented self, painful pathology and intense suffering.
There's a reason people joke about schizophrenics innately recognizing psychopaths.
