1. Marketing (and distribution) of said software is a chore, and doesn't really give me any benefits 2. It's tailored to me rather than to average Joe.
Same here. I have now the best tools I’ve ever had just because I made them tailored to me and my exact nitpicks. Advertising them now would just be creating more noise on the internet.
