No, not in an open-source project. Nor is it correct to build the project under the guise of open source and then pull the rug from underneath. Or any of the other anti-competitive, anti-consumer, anti-security crap they've been doing lately.

Correct? I suppose that depends on your definition. From a corporate perspective, perhaps. But from a consumer's perspective it's most certainly not the desired outcome.
