The point is that a slightly slower delivery feels like a rather small reason; for tolerating the collape the entire market of online purchases to a single abusive and monopolistic marketplace that is actively reducing the quality, trustwortiness and safety of everything we buy.

The reason everything else is worse than Amazon is itself because of Amazon. Once you've taken over the entire market; subsidising your delivery networks to the moon keeps the moat.
