Curious if this is even accurate now (if it ever was). At some point we as a society are going to need to come to terms with the fact that many or most of our psychological, sociological, and anthropological studies are now grossly inaccurate. Social mores have changed a f-ton. People are far less polite and far more narcissistic. Globalization has made localization sort of a joke. Wonder how anyone can still write a thesis or dissertation in good faith now in the social sciences.
